The room was lovely and very clean, the spa was wonderful and the therapists made sure we had the most relaxed time possible during and after our massage. All facilities were kept very clean and tidy and the staff were always happy to help. The evening meal, the service was very slow (40 mins for drinks) and the food was not what you would expect for the price (or the hour wait). Breakfast was lovely, very quick service and a great filling full English. Overall a lovely experience.
We had a lovely family holiday at this hotel. Great for a young family with an outdoor playground and a super indoor pool. Breakfast was both buffet and al a carte. Delicious. Dinner was nice. It was a good choice for a 2-night break. …
We spent Christmas Eve at the hotel and had a really lovely time. The hotel and room was spotless and the team were super helpful and kind. We ate in the bar as we’d forgotten to book a table in the restaurant and it was busy as expected. …
This is an incredible Hotel, the customer service was exceptional, the room was fantastic and the Spa was utterly perfect.
Food was a very high standard, matched by some of the best customer service I have ever received. A very good menu, a great wine list, but should ever stay on Sunday, absolutely try the Carvery, was a real treat.
The room was very clean, quiet, the room was a luxurious size, with a wonderful balcony and the bed was so comfortable.
A Hotel without fault, sadly I was only there for two night, would have loved to have stayed longer.
I stayed at the hotel last night with my partner for his birthday weekend. The hotel and grounds themselves were lovely, the room was great - the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel.
The facilties were great, we used the swimming pool and sauna and also the gym.
One of the most standout things for me however was the service, all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have to make a special note for the bar/restaurant manager, who's name I believe is Lee, her service and manner were perfect, nothing was too much trouble, all the way from lunch yesterday to breakfast this morning, she was a delight.
I would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely hotel.
I enjoyed the luxurious amenities at The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Lodges, including a fantastic pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub, as well as a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed and a balcony.
However, my experience was impacted by several service issues, including a rude waitress at breakfast and incorrect information provided by the check-in staff.
The hotel also requires attention in areas of maintenance, notably the lift and room design where drawers were obstructed by the door edging.
Additionally, the smaller TV size and the cleanliness of the bathroom, particularly the sink, were below expectations.
Overall, my stay was a blend of comfort and convenience, but it was somewhat dampened by these service and maintenance shortcomings.
We stayed over for just one night to do a couple of things in the area, and after finding a rather reasonable deal online. |Initially, the car park wasn’t clearly marked. We drove up to the small car park outside reception and were asked to …
The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The room was front facing with tea, coffee etc. Everything worked in the room and it was very warm at night. Bathroom needs a little maintenance due to wear and tear, the shower was huge. The only issue at night is the doors banging, I think one of the rooms was leaving their room a lot. Overall enjoyed our stay and would return.
I came for a spa day, the location is pretty easy to find. The scenery is pretty but the spa facilities were quite basic. It was a very big shame that the steam room was out of order as that is what I was looking forward to the most!!
However I had a massage, which was very needed my massage was carried out by Cheyanne. She is absolutely AMAZING!! It was by far the best massage I've ever had! If you go for a treatment I would definitely recommend her to anybody! She found all my knots, made sure the pressure was right for me. I felt relaxed afterwards for sure!
